Ripples, the UK’s leading bathroom retailer, welcomed designers from across its 26 showrooms to Ca’ Pietra headquarters on 14th May for its annual Designer Day — an immersive event dedicated to creativity, collaboration and continuous professional development.
An important fixture in the Ripples calendar, Designer Day is designed to inspire, challenge and support designers at every stage of their careers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to exceptional bathroom design and customer experience. This year’s event introduced a refreshed and highly interactive format, focused on strengthening creative storytelling, enhancing technical knowledge and encouraging innovation across the business.

Hosted at Ca’ Pietra’s inspiring headquarters, the day brought together talented design experts from across the business for a programme of workshops, hands-on experiences and collaborative sessions aimed at pushing creative boundaries and sharing best practice.
A key highlight of the day was the Ripples Design Creativity Workshop, where teams worked collaboratively on conceptual design challenges designed to encourage bold thinking and creative storytelling. Judged by Ca’ Pietra Founder & CEO, Hamish Smith, the competition celebrated originality, creativity and innovative use of materials.
Designers also enjoyed an immersive tour of Ca’ Pietra’s headquarters, alongside participating in a Virtual Worlds Workshop focused on enhancing presentation and visualisation skills, as well as a hands-on moodboard session exploring texture, colour and material combinations in an interactive and collaborative setting.
