A team from MERLYN and VADO completed the gruelling Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge on October 15th and raised £7,949 (and counting) in support of the Pink Ribbon Foundation. The fundraiser, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month was part of MERLYN’s longstanding partnership with the charity.
The challenge comprised a 21-mile circular hike and included the summiting of Derbyshire’s three highest peaks. The team completed this in under 10 hours and received over 240 donations, smashing their initial target of £5,000.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust that provides financial support to UK Breast Cancer charities.
