ERT is calling on independent electrical retailers and kitchen specialists across the UK to take part in The ERT Report, a new industry survey designed to provide a clearer picture of the challenges, trends and opportunities shaping the sector today.
The survey will gather insights on sales performance, customer behaviour, product trends and the key pressures facing independent retailers. The findings will be published in a dedicated report in the upcoming July/August issue of ERT, offering businesses valuable benchmarking data and a broader understanding of the current retail landscape.
All responses will remain completely anonymous, and participants will not be asked to share any sensitive financial information. Instead, the survey focuses on straightforward multiple-choice questions based on real trading experiences.
ERT Editor Will McGill said: “There’s a lot of noise around how the market is performing, but not enough real insight from the people actually running these businesses day to day. This survey is about cutting through that and giving independent retailers a proper voice.
“Retailers are facing growing pressure, from manufacturers increasingly selling direct to consumers to the ongoing impact of the cost-of-living crisis. The list of challenges is long, but that’s exactly why The ERT Report matters. It brings the industry together, helps build a clearer picture of what’s really happening, and ultimately aims to make a meaningful difference.”
Retailers of all sizes are encouraged to take part to help ensure the findings are as accurate and representative as possible.
The results of the survey will appear in the July/August edition of ERT.
