TruBlue is pleased to welcome David Terblanche to the team as our new 3D Object Designer, bringing almost 19 years of experience creating high-quality 3D content for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.
David joins TruBlue at an exciting time as development of TruBlue Studio continues to gather momentum ahead of its launch. In his new role, he will focus on producing detailed, beautifully crafted 3D product content that will help retailers and designers create more realistic, engaging and inspiring spaces within the platform.
Bringing KBB products to life
High-quality 3D content plays an essential role in the modern design and sales process. It allows customers to visualise their finished space more clearly, helps designers communicate their ideas with confidence and enables products to be presented in a way that reflects their real-world appearance.
David’s career includes almost 19 years at Compusoft, giving him extensive experience of creating 3D content for the KBB industry. His specialist skills span 3D object design, texture development and material creation, bringing together the technical accuracy and visual detail needed to represent products convincingly in a digital environment.
It is this depth of KBB knowledge that David now brings to TruBlue Studio. From product proportions and construction to textures, materials, finishes and visual presentation, his expertise will help us create content that looks beautiful, feels realistic and gives designers greater confidence when presenting their ideas to customers.
At TruBlue, David will apply this expertise to the growing content available within TruBlue Studio, helping to ensure designers have access to attractive, professional-quality objects that bring their plans to life.
Supporting the development of TruBlue Studio
TruBlue Studio is being developed as much more than a standalone room planner. The cloud-based platform connects intuitive 2D and 3D design, professional-quality rendering, accurate product data and pricing, customer relationship management, quotation and sales tools within one streamlined workflow.
The quality of the visual content within Studio is therefore an important part of the wider experience. By combining accurate product information with beautifully produced 3D objects, Studio will help KBB retailers create compelling designs while remaining connected to the commercial information needed to progress an opportunity from its earliest stages through to quotation and sale.
David’s appointment adds further specialist capability to the TruBlue team. His background in 3D object design, texture development and material creation will support our commitment to delivering a platform that is both commercially powerful and visually impressive.

A warm welcome to the team
We are delighted to welcome David to TruBlue and look forward to seeing his experience and creativity reflected throughout TruBlue Studio.
As the platform continues to evolve, David will play an important role in building the high-quality visual content that helps retailers inspire their customers, showcase products effectively and present their designs with confidence.
Welcome to TruBlue, David.
