“While it’s tempting to go straight to buying a new shower, we’d always recommend speaking with a professional first – especially if you’re unsure about your water system. A qualified plumber or installer can check your pressure, identify any plumbing quirks and point you towards models that will give you the best experience long term.

“Several factors can cause a drop in water pressure. Common culprits include limescale or sediment build-up, partially closed valves and even seasonal or peak-time fluctuations in your area’s mains supply – particularly in apartment blocks or high-rise buildings.
