The two organisations will be joining together to present practical growth strategies for KBB independent members and non-member attendees at three separate venues during Autumn 2026
Following the success of their shared stand at KBB Birmingham in March this year, the KBBG and the KBSA will be joining forces again this Autumn to co-host three separate daytime regional business development events at venues across the Midlands, the South and the North. The first will take place at The Belfry, Solihull on 14th October 2026, then at Wokefield Park, Reading on 4th November 2026, and at Royal Armouries, Leeds on 25th November 2026.
Each regional meeting will focus on how to implement and generate positive change in todays’ challenging retail environment. The event programme will commence with welcome speeches and business updates presented by Richard Hibbert, managing director of the KBBG, and by Luke Wedgbury, interim chair of the KBSA.
At each event, business workshops developed specifically for independent KBB retailers will be moderated by Facilitator, Niall Daly, founder of Clearing Space Ltd. and Programme Director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. With 15 years’ experience in the KBB sector, he will introduce proven methodologies and actionable tools for business growth, having previously mentored hundreds of ambitious UK SME leaders.
This will culminate in the provision of a 90-day plan to help independent retailers achieve their business goals, which will then be followed up with a webinar at a later date to help implement them. In addition to coffee and lunch breaks, there will also be time set aside for industry networking following each event’s closing messages, between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.
Attendance is complimentary for independent retailer members of the KBBG (DER KREIS UK) or the KBSA. Tickets can be booked by visiting www.kbsa.org.uk where they can choose from one of the three locations and enter the PROMO code listed. Direct emails will also be sent to members.
Independent KBB retailer non-members are also welcome to attend any of the regional meetings by registering and paying a fee of £99.00 inc. VAT per delegate, per event. The event dates and venues, with the booking links are listed here:

Luke Wedgbury, interim KBSA chair, says:
“Working together with the KBBG on this shared platform reflects exactly the kind of collaboration our members need at the moment. Independent retailers are operating in a tough climate and pooling our resources means we can bring them the high-calibre speakers, sharp insights and valuable networking that offer a genuine benefit.
“In addition, by taking these events out to Warwickshire, Berkshire and Yorkshire, we’re making it easier for independents up and down the UK to access practical and actionable guidance without the time and cost of travelling to a single national event. I’m excited we’re able to offer this opportunity to our members.”
Richard Hibbert, managing director, KBBG says:
“Following a very busy and successful shared presence at KBB Birmingham this year, we wanted to offer a different format to our annual meetings. In collaboration with the KBSA, we have to created three options for members, and non-members to attend one of three daytime regional meetings in an elegant and stylish conference location nearer to their businesses.
“We know that working side-by-side with the KBSA helps us and our members to be stronger together. Our shared plan is to inspire and enthuse business-owners as they navigate through economic pitfalls and challenging market conditions. The programme that Niall Daly has developed for these events will offer posi.ve insights into building and maintaining growth in the future.”
