Woodstock Trading Company, Hereford- Woodstock Trading, a leading luxury bathroom furniture business, announces the appointment of Alex Seaborn as Managing Director. Alex Seaborn, formerly Financial Director, has a proven record of achievement in growth environments, positioning him as the ideal candidate to oversee Woodstock Trading’s growth initiatives.

Alex brings years of valuable commercial experience to his new role, having spent the last 2 years at Woodstock leading the Finance, IT, HR, and Purchasing functions and prior to those six years at Forest Garden as Group Financial Director, during which time the business doubled in size. With a strong background in finance and a deep understanding of market dynamics, Alex is poised to lead Woodstock Trading toward achieving its ambitious growth targets.

The company’s Calypso and Veldeau Bathroom Furniture brands offer exceptional craftsmanship and stylish designs. Ben Doouss, currently CEO, will transition to Chairman, while Mark Doouss, currently MD, will assume the role of CEO. The nurturing environment created by the Doouss family has allowed many, including Alex, to contribute to the business’s success.

Woodstock Trading is currently expanding its warehouse to meet increasing demands. The project is progressing well and will be completed this year, doubling the warehousing capacity. Alongside this, the company has installed 380 solar panels, generating clean energy and saving 44t of CO2 annually, as part of its commitment to sustainability, achieving ISO 14001 accreditation in January this year.
