Sales figures from the past 12-months have revealed that the UK is trending towards more spacious size wetroom designs. Impey reports that its large size Aqua-Dec Linear floor formers, launched just one year ago, have already proved to be among the best-selling models for the UK’s market leading wetroom manufacturer.
In September 2023, Impey launched three larger sizes of its popular Aqua-Dec Linear range, with the aim of offering more versatile specification options for wetrooms with a bigger footprint. The Aqua-Dec Linear range offers a flexible variety of options including 1, 2, 3 and 4-way falls; all with their own unique aesthetic and a large variety of drain tops for personalisation.
The new sizes launched included Aqua-Dec Linear 2 1400mm x 900mm, Aqua-Dec Linear 4 2000mm x 1000mm and the Aqua-Dec Linear 4 2000mm x 1200mm, representing the largest wetroom floor formers available on the UK market. The popularity of these super-size options has proved that homeowners are keen to embrace the space when it comes to wetroom design.
In a modern bathroom, a large wet area offers the perfect aesthetic for an open plan layout.
