VADO is pleased to announce the successful relocation of our warehousing operations to a new
facility in Bridgwater, Somerset. Our new, significantly larger warehouse is now fully operational and
efficiently fulfilling all VADO deliveries. The strategic move consolidates our operations from five
separate warehouses in Cheddar and Glastonbury, to one singular, state-of-the-art site.
The relocation enhances our capacity and optimises our processes, enabling VADO to deliver an
improved and faster service to our valued customers. The new facility supports our expansion into
new bathroom categories, such as the launch of Cameo, allowing us to hold more stock and store
larger items effectively. Our Bridgwater site offers over 65,000 square feet of warehouse space,
including approximately 8,000 pallet spaces, six loading docks, excellent office facilities and an
impressive yard space.
The consolidation of our VADO warehouses not only streamlines our logistical operations, but also
demonstrates our commitment to sustainability by significantly reducing our carbon footprint. ‘This
move is a key step towards becoming more efficient and responsive to our customer’s needs,’
comments Andy Baines, Managing Director of VADO. ‘By centralising our operations, we are on a path
of continuous improvement, saving 1,000 trips per year and reducing our annual van transportation
by 26,000 miles.’
While our Customer Support and Operations teams are now based in Bridgwater, our VADO Head
Office in Cheddar remains home to many of our desk-based staff, as well as our popular Hydrologics
