Originally created as a bespoke design, the View 21.2H is now available to bathroom designers, as standard, from The Shower Lab.
Crafted from robust, high-quality glass, the View 21.2H by The Shower Lab is designed to ensure even compact bathrooms can benefit from a luxurious, frameless wetroom. To optimise and conserve space, when not in use, the panels benefit from meticulously designed double hinges that allow the glass to fold flat against the wall. The flush design also removes the need for a threshold, eliminating a potential trip hazard, making it ideal for specifying in a multigenerational home or for users with additional needs. When needed, the double-hinged panels effortlessly fold out, to form a splash guard, to help users maintain a dry space around the enclosure.
The unique solid brass hinges, supplied by The Shower Lab, allow the glass panels to open both inwards and outwards, for a seamless and effortless use. What’s more, the View 21.2H can be specified in a range of sizes and configured with either a right or left sided opening to suit the requirements of the end-user.
The double-hinged bifold panels are constructed using 10 mm toughened safety glass that is tested to EN12150 standard. Additionally, the glass is treated with EnduroShield, a clear, non-stick, polymer coating finish that bonds directly onto the glass. EnduroShield creates an impenetrable barrier against limescale and other forms of water-related buildup, ensuring the glass remains water repellent and subsequently is easy to clean and maintain. Furthermore, the dry glazing process that minimises the use of silicone during the installation process, offers a sleek finish and creates a reliable seal to minimise water penetration and eliminate leaks to the surrounding bathroom.
Available in 10 stunning finishes, the View 21.2H double-hinged bifold panels are a versatile, elegant addition to the bathroom. Designers can choose from opulent metallic finishes such as Light Aged Bronze, Polished Gold, or masculine Brushed Gunmetal Grey to traditional choices of Polished Chrome, White and Matt Black finishes.
