The Novy Easy 90 Prestige is the latest addition to Novy’s collection of minimalist and luxurious vented induction hobs. This surface or flush-mounted 90cm dual purpose appliance features a range of cooking functions and has an ultra-quiet A++ + energy rated central matrix extraction vent that intuitively activates when cooking starts, automatically regulating the extraction speed as required. Providing an on-trend professional aesthetic, five elegant mineral black rotary dial controls are integrated within cabinetry beneath the hob.
Available either as an extraction or as a recirculation model with an additional recirculation kit, this powerful hob benefits from a wide range of functions to make cooking easier. It features four octagonal 240 x 210mm cooking zones that can be converted into two larger Flexzones on either side of the central matrix extraction vent, ideal for larger or more awkward shaped pans. This is used with a bridging function, intuitively activating to maintain a constant temperature if a larger pan is placed across the zones.
Featuring automatic pot detection, pans can be moved around the hob and the temperature will also remain the same once re-situated. With four stylish black aluminium push and turn rotary dial controls that adjust the nine power levels and the separate cooking functions for each zone, a central mineral black aluminium control manually adjusts the extraction speeds.
Functions include Automatic Cooking where the power boost function is activated to maximum, reducing the temperature to simmer when water is boiled. Once food is cooked, it can be kept on a Keep Warm function at 42°C. Should there be any need to temporarily stop the cooking process, a Stop&Go pause function will reactivate the time and temperature setting. Safety features include a child lock and an auto safety switch-off. There are 99-minute timers on each zone, an independent cooking timer and a count-up timer.
Together with intuitive cooking functions, the central matrix extractor also has intuitive features. Once cooking has started, it will detect cooking odours and vapours and will automatically regulate the extraction speed to quickly and quietly remove them to leave only clean air in the kitchen. It has nine speed settings and a 10-minute run-on timer*. Powerful, yet energy efficient, with a maximum free flow rate of 750m³/h, this vented hob model features very quiet extraction, with a minimum noise level of 35dB(A).
The Novy Easy 90 Prestige is also easy to maintain: the frame of the metal grease filter is also a collection tray should something boil over and run into the extractor and it has an easy to empty overflow system to collect spills at the base of the appliance. Both the grease filter frame and the matrix grid are removable and dishwasher safe.
