Textural and tactile, the new Scavolini Musa kitchen makes a statement in any space

Contrasting materials characterise the new Musa kitchen by Scavolini. Cue the warmth of wood veneer on the island that’s offset by a steel breakfast bar and sink that inject a cooler, industrial touch.

As is standard for a Scavolini kitchen collection, Musa is available with a wide range of cabinet fronts. Taking centre stage is Pas Dosé [seen on the tall units, above and below], a sophisticated pearl-effect that has been added to Scavolini’s existing range of gloss and matt lacquers and is available on Musa’s slatted or slab doors.

If gloss or matt lacquer don’t catch your eye, there’s no doubt that one of the many other materials available from Scavolini will. Options include melamine, laminate, Fenix NTM, wood veneer (slatted or slab) or glass (matt, polished, smoked or Stopsol). Musa also rocks an industrial vibe with the option of an aluminium-framed door with a wire mesh front or a metal-effect lacquered door.

A wide selection of handles – including an exclusive design in a satin steel or matt anthracite finish (above) – adds to the options within the Musa collection. There are choices in terms of plinths too. Seen here in a satin finish, they are also available in a range of matt finish colours including Iron Grey and Seagull Grey as well as black, white, bronze and brass. And for those who prefer a discrete plinth, there’s always the option to match it to the colour of a gloss or matt lacquer door front.

A final selling point: Musa’s units are 75cm wide rather than the standard 60cm, making them ideal for housing extra-large built-in appliances.
