Take Franke’s Snapshot Survey on plastic waste

Coinciding with the worldwide ‘Plastic Free July’ campaign, this month Franke is shouting out across the industry and running a Snapshot Survey as part of its Refill not Landfill initiative.

Franke launched its Refill not Landfill campaign on May 1st and it runs until 31st October. It is aimed at reducing the use of plastic water bottles in everyday life through a promotion run by its retail studio partners nationwide with consumers receiving two free water flasks on purchasing any Franke, or sister-brand Carron Phoenix, tap that includes filtration during this period.

Franke has now launched the Snapshot Survey across the industry’s digital platforms inviting participants to complete a short questionnaire. This is designed to get a view across the kitchen and bathroom industry of attitudes to, and consumption of, single-use plastic bottles. Results will be collated and published to share the insights gained.

The survey can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FrankeSnapshotSurvey

Says Neil Clark, managing director at Franke UK Ltd:

“We’d love to see as many people as possible taking part in this survey. We believe that small changes can make big differences and this short survey is designed to encourage us to think about the individual and collective actions across business that can help reduce plastic waste. The results will give us a snapshot of where we are at now on this topic and we hope encourages people, far and wide across the industry, to think about the changes they can easily make in their everyday lives.”

Responses are anonymous unless respondents choose to provide an email address for the chance to win one of the 50 re-useable water flasks Franke is giving away as a thank you for taking part in the survey. These will be drawn at random at the beginning of August. The campaign can be followed on Twitter using #RefillnotLandfillUK and the Franke website.
