Kitchen sinks and taps specialist, Reginox UK has recognised talent within its team to promote Chelsea McCafferty to Area Sales Manager for the north – one of the business’ busiest territories.
Chelsea’s appointment is the culmination of three years at the Cheshire-based firm, which began as a sales administrator, later moving to telesales.
But it was whilst assisting Reginox UK Commercial Director Dave Mayer that her flair for customer liaison and relationship building really came to the fore, eventually resulting in her promotion when the ASM role became available.
“It’s great to promote talent from within, and that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do with Chelsea,” says Mayer.
“After three years of working hard in our sales department including external area management, Chelsea now picks up one of our biggest and most intense areas.
“She’s a great talent with superb product, brand, company knowledge and that all-important ambitious mindset, I’m absolutely sure that Chelsea will quickly bring benefits to both our customers and the Reginox business.
For her part, Chelsea says she always knew she wanted to do something in business but didn’t expect it to be sales: “I always thought it would be administrative, but this is where it has led me and I absolutely love it!” she adds.
Based in the Netherlands with a UK headquarters, Reginox is acclaimed for the style and innovation of its wide-ranging array of stainless steel, composite and ceramic sinks, as well as conventional, filtered and boiling water taps.
Outside of work, mum-of-one Chelsea, who hails from Congleton where Reginox is based, used to enjoy boxing – winning three of her five amateur fights before a bad fall horse-riding put paid to any hope of continuing in such a demanding sport.
