RAK CERAMICS TEAM EFFORT FOR CHARITY EVENTS

July marks a month of fundraising for RAK Ceramics, as its staff and customers brave new heights and take to the golf course in aid of Rowans Hospice.

Staff and customers will be hoping for sunshine as they tee off at Warwickshire Golf Club on Thursday 21st July, for the manufacturer’s annual Charity Golf Day.

The two previous golf days have raised more than £80,000 for Rowans Hospice, with this year’s participants looking to build on this impressive figure even more as they head to the greens once again.

With prizes on offer to the Best Team Overall Winner, Nearest to Pin and even for the Team that Tried the Hardest and the Best Dressed, the day promises to be full of fun and healthy competition.

The day’s golfing action will be followed by a three-course meal, comedian, charity auction and prize giving.

Three days later on 24th July, RAK Ceramics staff Leon Jakeman, Liam Griffiths, Glen Stafford, Niamh Starkey, Owen Bryden, Kalvin Burse, Neil Smith and Martin Long will take part in a charity skydive. All money raised from both events will be donated to the hospice that provides end of life care and support to people in Portsmouth and the surrounding area.
