Quooker launches two new support initiatives for the Kitchen Industry

With the closure of kitchen showrooms across the UK and the necessity to uphold social distancing, Quooker has launched its new VIP virtual installation offer. With the aim of delivering uncompromised quality of care, this service guides consumers through the installation process by remote one-to-one virtual application.

Using Quooker’s augmented reality app, consumers can visualise how any design or finish will look in situ before purchasing. Orders can then be placed as usual from retailers nationwide, at a discounted rate; Quooker will then ship within 72 hours, without a delivery charge. Consumers will be guided through the installation process by a certified Quooker installer within a two-hour window. Not only does this initiative give consumers unhindered access to market-leading boiling water taps, but it also strives to keep as many independent installers in the industry working as possible.

The second initiative looks to provide financial support to its many thousands of small, independent and family-run dealers. In light of current turbulent trading conditions, Quooker’s MD Stephen Johnson is keenly aware how retailers of all sizes will inevitably be forced into some financial difficulty and has worked hard to create a generous support package.

Entitled ‘COVID-19: Quooker Support for Businesses’, the scheme will be open to any Quooker UK displaying dealer. Starting from 01 April 2020 it is designed to support businesses whose operations have been severely affected by the virus.

Under the scheme Quooker dealers will be offered the ability to freeze the account for a period of up to 3 months.* No dealer needs to apply for the scheme as the company will be proactively contacting all its customers in the next week outlining the support package in greater detail.
