Johnson Tiles is set to expand its porcelain collection with the launch of two new ranges – Petra and Venero in June this year. They are designed by the company’s UK design team to bring timeless aesthetics inspired by the natural world into modern residential and commercial interiors.
Combining the visual character of stone with the durability and practicality of glazed porcelain, both collections have been developed to reflect growing demand for calm, tactile and elegant interior finishes.
Petra brings gentle texture and tonal layering to interior spaces, using delicate surface detailing to create a serene, contemporary feel. Available in three mineral-inspired colours, Chalk, Pebble and Asphalt, the collection adds depth and organic character to residential and commercial schemes.
Venero takes a softer approach, drawing on weathered landscapes through gentle stone-like veining and a warm, earthy palette of Shale, Taupe and Walnut. The result is a versatile range well suited to hospitality, leisure and modern living spaces.
Design manager Melanie Holland comments: “We designed Petra and Venero in house to reflect the growing UK demand for interiors that feel grounded, tactile and effortlessly timeless.
“Nature continues to shape interior design, with specifiers gravitating towards warm neutrals, earthy tones and stone-inspired surfaces that create a calm, considered backdrop. Larger formats are part of that conversation too, giving designers the scope to create sweeping, uninterrupted flooring schemes.
“Petra brings subtle fossil textures and layered mineral detailing for an understated yet characterful feel, while Venero takes a softer route, with delicate veining and warm earthy tones that bring a sense of balance and quiet sophistication.”
Both ranges will come in 600x300mm, 600x600mm and 1200x600mm formats in a natural finish, with a PTV 36+ slip resistance rating that makes them suitable for internal commercial spaces, including high-traffic areas such as retail, hospitality and workplace interiors.
Petra and Venero will be stocked in the UK and each carries an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), supporting Johnson Tiles’ ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainability. Both ranges will be featured at Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 and available to order from the 25th June 2026.
