New Show Partners For The W Exhibition & Elements
The W Exhibition and Elements event organiser; Angus Montgomery, is continuing to strengthen its partnerships in the furniture design and manufacturing industry with the introduction of new show partners for 2018.
In a bid to represent the whole industry and emulate the success of 2016, new associations and training institutes, including The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET), British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) and the Furniture and Interiors Education, Skills and Training Alliance (FIESTA), will be joining forces with existing show partners to help promote the importance of education in the furniture industry and take an active role in the show’s brand new Education Zone.
Continuing their pledge to champion the industry of tomorrow, the W Exhibition and Elements will also be partnering with Didac Training College and the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) for a second time. With a clear focus on the ageing workforce and skills shortage in the industry, they will be offering visitors the tools they need to tackle these issues, whilst promoting qualifications and structured training courses in the sector. The biennial event will also be working closely with The National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) and Shop and Display Equipment Association (SDEA) to showcase the breadth of careers available to young adults.
The show’s official charity partner, Help for Heroes, completes the new line-up as it will continue to raise awareness and funding for their recovery centres in the UK. Offering a wide range of services, the centres give ex-servicemen and women who have suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses, an opportunity to learn and develop the necessary skills needed to begin a career in the woodworking industry.
Lisa Campagnola, Event Director adds, “By working with the industry to create the W Exhibition and Elements, we have the ability to create a show that holds real value. As a combined force, both shows offer a solid platform to promote the industry and the vast number of opportunities it holds for talented individuals. We want to create a lasting legacy and support the sector. By working closely with industry professionals and our visitors, we’re confident the W Exhibition and Elements will continue to be a driving force in the furniture industry.”
The W Exhibition and Elements will be taking place from the 30 September – 3 October 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham. To register for your FREE ticket simply visit the show’s website and join over 8,000 industry professionals: www.Wexhibition.co.uk.
