Moores donate kitchen to revamp local community cricket club

Yorkshire based kitchen manufacturer, Moores, has recently teamed up with Thorpe Arch & Boston Spa Cricket Club to donate a kitchen to help revamp their current communal club area.

Through this donation, Moores were able to successfully repurpose a returned kitchen, which would have otherwise been recycled as waste parts.

Allan Olbison, volunteer at the Thorpe Arch & Boston Spa cricket club comments: “I contacted Moores Furniture Group towards the end of last year, as our cricket club TABS in Thorp Arch were in desperate need of a refurb. Moores kindly donated a kitchen and worktop, allowing us to replace the existing dilapidated kitchen, and we can’t thank them enough! It has made a huge difference to our clubhouse and is now a much cleaner, brighter, functional space for our players, members and their friends and family.”

Michael Barrett, CEO of Moores comments: “We have always held community at our core, doing whatever we can to positively impact our local area. We’re delighted to sustainably donate one of our kitchens to assist a local sports team and help to improve their clubhouse.”
