Magnet, the UK’s leading kitchen retailer, today announces three new product developments spanning the brand’s most premium mock in-frame collection to date, a pioneering tactile surface technology that flawlessly mimics real wood and an innovative new cabinet format designed to unlock space in every room of the home. These will be available across all 160+ showrooms and on magnet.co.uk.
“People are spending more time in their kitchens than ever before, and they want their home to feel personal and built to last. These three launches are our response to that shift. Bewdley delivers the luxury look of a handcrafted kitchen to a wider audience than ever before. Ambleside Oak lets you feel the texture and grain of real wood, and our Shallow Depth Units take that same quality beyond the kitchen – to maximise living space in the hallway, the living room or wherever homeowners need it. We believe every home, regardless of size or budget, should feel unique, liveable, and intentionally designed. The craftsmanship behind these launches reflects the rigorous standards that recently earned Magnet the prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark Award in May 2025 – an honour bestowed on only a select few each year. We are immensely proud to bring this benchmark of quality to our June launches.” Cath Harrison, Head of Product
Bewdley

Bewdley is Magnet’s newest and most premium kitchen collection, built around a precision-engineered mock in-frame door crafted from real timber with beaded detailing. It delivers the timeless, artisan aesthetic of a true in-frame kitchen, traditionally the preserve of bespoke joinery, without the complexity or cost of custom installation.
Bewdley is designed to deliver a premium, bespoke aesthetic without compromising on accessibility, bringing true attainable luxury to the heart of the home. Designs are endlessly adaptable: from soft, chalky neutrals to deeper, characterful tones.

Ambleside

Joining Magnet’s existing and much-loved Ambleside collection is a significant new finish: Oak, featuring Magnet’s proprietary True Touch technology – a market first in the UK and exclusively retailed only via Magnet until December 2026.
Tapping into the ‘Mountain Breeze’ design trend, which champions calming, grounded interiors, True Touch is the most technically innovative of Magnet’s 2026 product launches. Powered by a new-generation Continuous Pressure Laminate (CPL), the door surface replicates the deep, variegated grain and warmth of solid oak.
Magnet has obsessed over the details to ensure 360-degree authenticity. Unlike standard finishes, Ambleside Oak features bespoke End-Grain Print edging that perfectly mirrors the cellular structure of cross-cut timber. Furthermore, the paper-based CPL and recycled MDF cores significantly reduce the use of thermoplastics, delivering the sensory richness of solid oak while maintaining a highly sustainable, eco-responsible footprint.

New Oak finish within the existing Ambleside collection
Features proprietary True Touch technology, which mimics real wood grain and texture
A more accessible alternative to solid wood doors
Shallow Depth Units
Magnet’s third launch is its most versatile: a new cabinet format that fundamentally expands what a kitchen brand can do in the home.
Engineered at a highly versatile 330mm depth, these units are designed to unlock narrower spaces in the kitchen and beyond. The new format enables the creation of media walls, coffee nooks, and hallway storage, all built to the same manufacturing standard as Magnet’s full-depth cabinetry.
True to Magnet’s “Better. By design” philosophy, the launch also revolutionises internal kitchen storage. The new Walk-In and Blind Corner Larders turn awkward voids into high-functioning spaces, utilising integrated Le-Mans swivel technology to bring everyday essentials right to your fingertips.
In the kitchen, the shallow depth format responds to the rise of ‘Cafe-Core’, the cultural shift that has made the home a destination for beverage artistry. The Bewdley Coffee Nook, pictured below in Shell, translates that trend into a purpose-built, precision-engineered space that accommodates a home barista setup without sacrificing the wider kitchen footprint.
To demonstrate the range of applications, Magnet has shot the new format across four different collections and colourways:
Bewdley Voyage Blue – Media wall
Portobello Bosco – Media wall
Ascoli Woodland Green – Media wall
Ambleside Sand – Media wall
Bewdley Shell – Coffee nook
Bewdley Cornish Clay – Standalone bar feature + shallow island
