Liebherr, specialists in refrigeration, has expanded its fully integrated range with a new collection of extra-high and extra-wide appliances, designed to offer increased capacity, flexible food storage and refined design for modern kitchens.

The collection includes three new XXL fully integrated fridge-freezer (model: ICBNbi 7663, Prime, ICNc 7603 Pure and ICBNSd 7623 Plus), alongside two XL fully integrated refrigerators (model: IRBbi 5650 Prime and IRBci 5620 Plus). Designed for 194cm high niches, the new appliances combine increased storage capacity with seamless integration, advanced freshness technologies and energy-efficient performance.

XXL capacity for busy households

The XXL fully integrated fridge-freezers are designed for spaces with a 194-195cm height and 71-72cm width. With impressive volumes spanning 347-359 litres across the different models, the range provides homeowners with around 100 litres more cooling volume than a regular integrated appliance, offering significantly increased space for a larger weekly shop and entertaining essentials.

With extra-wide BioFresh safes, large door shelves, VarioBoxes and VarioTemp technology, the new XXL models make it easier to organise food, drinks and smaller everyday items. Additionally, the glass shelf’s flexible sliding function retains space for bottles when positioned across the compartment or, when removed completely, creates additional room for larger items.

For occasions when extra chilled space is needed, VarioTemp enables the freezer compartment to operate as either a freezer, refrigerator or cellar compartment. The temperature can be set from -26°C to -15°C in freezer mode or from -2°C to +14°C when used as refrigerator or cellar compartment, giving homeowners the flexibility to adapt to any cooling need.

The appliances also feature NoFrost technology to prevent icing in the freezer compartment, an IceMaker, DuoCooling, SoftTelescopic rails and an elegant glass and steel interior. A SmartSteel rear wall provides a food-safe and hygienic stainless-steel surface, while the LightTower illuminates the interior evenly, even when the appliance is fully stocked.

Despite its volume, the ICBNbi 7663 has an energy efficiency class B rating, helping to reduce energy consumption. For homeowners conscious of the electricity costs often associated with larger appliances, the new XXL models balance increased storage capacity with energy efficiency.

Increased capacity in an XL format

Liebherr’s new XL fully integrated refrigerators are designed with a 194-195cm height and 56-57cm width. The Prime model offers a total volume of 325 litres, while the Plus model benefits from 323 litres, both providing around 30 litres of additional cooling volume compared with a regular integrated appliance.

The two new models feature BioFresh compartments for optimum food storage, with three safes for easy, humidity-controlled flexibility and two height-adjustable VarioSafes for smaller items. The Plus model includes a steel interior, SoftSystem closing and SuperCool functionality, which rapidly cools newly added items. As well as these features, the Prime model also has a Glass & Steel interior, LightTower lighting and SoftTelescopic rails for streamlined performance.

The Prime model has an energy efficiency class B rating, while the Plus model has an energy efficiency class C rating.

Freshness at the forefront

With costs and sustainability a key consideration for today’s homeowner, the new XXL and XL models incorporates Liebherr’s BioFresh technology, with dedicated fruit and vegetable and meat and dairy safes. Maintaining temperatures close to 0°C, the compartments create tailored conditions for different foods – keeping produce fresh for up to five times longer.
