German kitchen brand Kutchenhaus has expanded its international reach, strengthening its franchise partner network with new showrooms in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.

Launching for the first time in the cities of Sofia and Brno, the brand extends its owner-centric model in Europe. Building on its strong UK presence, Kutchenhaus brings its German-engineered kitchens, plus exceptional end-to-end service and an immersive customer experience to two new markets.

Husband-and-wife team leads launch in Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s very first Kutchenhaus kitchen showroom, Kutchenhaus Sofia, is owned by interior design and kitchen expert, Toni Mehmed-Georgieva, and husband Kaloyan Georgiev.

Featuring six kitchen displays and a collection of the latest appliances from brands such as Bosch, AEG and Whirlpool, the new business combines the knowledge of Toni, who worked in the UK kitchen industry for more than 10 years, with Kaloyan, a skilled home renovator with 10 years’ experience.

Following her professional experience in the United Kingdom, Toni was inspired to return to Bulgaria and establish her own showroom. “I was keen to bring the expertise gained during my time in the UK back home, and this showroom really is a family venture,” she explains.

“We’re delighted to open the new space and eager to welcome customers for conversations about how we can impact their lives by creating spaces they fall instantly in love with.”

Toni continues: “The Kutchenhaus team helped greatly throughout our journey opening Kutchenhaus Sofia. From the off, experts supported me through this process and offered their valuable advice. Complete support services, such as design, checking, ordering, logistics and training, have been incredibly valuable and have made this dream possible.”

Bringing UK experience to the Czech market

The new Kutchenhaus Brno showroom is owned by experienced kitchen specialist Pavel Holderik, who has extensive Kutchenhaus expertise, having already owned the successful Brighton showroom in the UK.

Now taking the next step in his business journey, Pavel is proudly introducing Kutchenhaus to his home country, leveraging his UK experience to bring the brand’s proven concept to the Czech market.

The new Brno showroom features four kitchen displays, two utility spaces and three bathroom displays, with appliances from brands such as BORA, Miele, Siemens and Bosch, plus products from NEFF – a first for the Czech Republic.

He comments: “My youth was spent in Brno, so I have great memories here. Upon returning from the UK, I wanted to open a Kutchenhaus showroom here and share my experience as the city is developing so quickly, with new houses and apartments being built every day.

“With the support of my business partner Jan Rotrekl, it’s a great moment to launch this space and to start building the network of Kutchenhaus in the Czech Republic.”

Pavel continues: “As a previous showroom owner, I know the exceptional end-to-end business support you receive from Kutchenhaus. Brno is developing rapidly and, thanks to the brand’s owner‑centric model, I’ve had the opportunity to introduce something completely new to the city. Opening the new showroom has been a real team effort and I’m now proud to bring our German‑engineered kitchens to the Czech Republic.”

Looking beyond its first showroom, Kutchenhaus is continuing its growth in the Czech Republic, with plans already underway to open a second showroom in 2026 – further strengthening the brand’s presence and reputation in the region.

Jim Barnard, General Manager at Kutchenhaus, commented: “We welcome the launch of these outstanding new showrooms, and it is a privilege to have worked with their talented owners to bring Kutchenhaus to these new markets.

“Our strength is in our franchise partner network, which is crucial to our growth both in the UK and overseas. The people driving these businesses and the passion within them are the reason we can proudly offer our customers exceptional design and a winning customer experience from idea-to-installation, which really sets us apart.”

Jim continued: “We work to empower our owners to thrive in their local communities, supporting them with the tools they need to become a name and face which is known and trusted locally. Building a positive future together is imperative and this is a collaborative process, enabling our franchise partners to have a voice in what we do as a brand.

“With this exciting next step, we look forward to more customers discovering Kutchenhaus in new markets and learning just how our business can transform the way they think and feel about their homes.”

Kutchenhaus is the UK’s fastest-growing kitchen franchise business with more than 95 showrooms across the UK.
