Join the KBB industry as the BKU Awards goes digital!

After much careful consideration, Bathroom & Kitchen Update publisher Datateam Business Media has made the difficult decision to not host a live event for this year’s BKU Awards.

While the organisers recognise that this news will be disappointing to many that were looking forward to this key networking date on the KBB calendar, they are excited to reveal the plans to move the event to a digital platform for 2020 – providing a unique opportunity for even more industry professionals to be a part of it.

Business director Carl Hearnden comments: “After months of planning an extra special event, the entire BKU Awards team is of course disappointed that we are unable to go ahead with a live event this year however the health and safety of everyone involved is our number one priority.

“With that being said, we know that now – perhaps more than ever – it’s essential to recognise all of the hard work going on in the sector and celebrate those that have been deservingly selected as winners by their peers. We believe that by moving the BKU Awards to a live streamed virtual event, we can still provide an event that honours the ethos of the awards while safeguarding everyone involved.”

Carl continues: “I am delighted to have a chance to invite everyone involved in the kitchen and bathroom sector to join us on Thursday 16 July for the first ever live stream BKU Awards.”

The live stream will be hosted on the dedicated BKU Awards website on Thursday 16 July, from 4.00pm to 5.45pm. No registration is required to attend – professionals are simply invited to log on to the stream, grab a glass of bubbly if they like and join in the celebrations on the social wall by using #BKUAwards20 on social media.

The organisers would also like to extend their thanks to the Awards’ incredible sponsors for their continued support:  Aqualisa, BA, Banks & Lloyd, Claygate, Compusoft, Domestic Appliance Distributors, HiB, Kudos Showers, Montpellier, RAK Ceramics, Uform, Used Kitchen Exchange, VADO and Virtual Worlds.
