ISH 2023: Hansgrohe Booth is a Crowd Pleaser

Hansgrohe Group Inspires Thousands of Visitors in Frankfurt at the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning Technology

With its maxim “reduce, re-use, recycle” the Hansgrohe booth in Frankfurt’s Festhalle was the “place-to-be” for visitors attending ISH, the world’s leading trade fair for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology. On a 2,000 sq. metre stand, Hansgrohe Group presented innovations from its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, including, for the first time, holistic bathroom concepts. A crowd magnet (photo right) was Hansgrohe’s “Green Vision Beyond Water: Rethinking Bathroom Culture” – the concept study of a bathroom with a 90 percent reduction in water and energy consumption, and thus also 90 percent less CO2-emissions.

During ISH 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology from March 13-17, 2023, Hansgrohe Group welcomed more than 59,000 guests to Frankfurt’s Festhalle, according to its own estimates. Positioned on a 2,000 square metre exhibition booth, the Black Forest-based manufacturer of sanitary products presented innovations from its brands AXOR and hansgrohe, and, for the first time ever, presented holistic bathroom concepts, which showcased new ceramics, furniture and mirrors.

In addition, a crowd magnet at the fair was Hansgrohe’s “Green Vision Beyond Water: Rethinking Bathroom Culture” – the concept study of a bathroom with a 90 percent reduction in water and energy consumption, and thus also 90 Percent less CO2-emissions.

Personal Talks, Product Innovations, Celebrity Designers and Party Atmosphere

The Hansgrohe trade fair team and ISH visitors were thrilled to finally meet and exchange ideas in person again. This optimistic mood was also reflected by Hansgrohe’s motto for ISH 2023 – ‘Celebrate Change’ – underpinned by, for the first time in its 120-year history, the unveiling of an expanded product portfolio, including sanitary ceramics and bathroom furniture, under the premium brand, hansgrohe.

A total of 154,000 visitors attended ISH 2023 and thousands of them made extensive use of the opportunity to explore hansgrohe’s new products directly on site in Frankfurt’s Festhalle. There were numerous events for sanitary professionals and journalists, from tours of the exhibition booth to customer club events, which saw 640 Hansgrohe customer club members invited over two days to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Hansgrohe iClub. During a special breakfast and lunch, they were able to learn more about the product range extensions in an exclusive setting.

A “Green Hour” press briefing, saw journalists from across Europe learn about Hansgrohe’s sustainability strategy, while an exclusive event for architects, designers and media representatives organised by AXOR at the “Roomers” bar in Frankfurt.

The Hansgrohe stand at ISH 2023 was also a special highlight for well-known design partners, such as Parisian creator Philippe Starck, and Jay Osgerby from the London design duo Barber & Osgerby.

Two Special Trains Filled with Hansgrohe Team Spirit

Not only did thousands of professionals from the sanitary industry pay a visit to the Hansgrohe booth, but also 1,200 Hansgrohe employees from the company’s sites in Offenburg and Schiltach.

They took the opportunity to travel to ISH in Frankfurt on two special trains organised by Hansgrohe on Friday 17th March 2023. Since 1989, Hansgrohe has offered its employees the opportunity to visit its exhibition booth in Frankfurt on the last day of the trade fair via the legendary Hansgrohe ISH train. The atmosphere is always exceptional, as colleagues from a wide variety of departments and areas come together for this special event.

Hans Jürgen Kalmbach, Chairman of the Executive Board of Hansgrohe SE, said: “The positive response from our customers and the enthusiasm of the entire Hansgrohe team after these five days at ISH is a great motivation for all of us.

“I would like to thank everyone – also on behalf of the entire Executive Board – for their tireless efforts and incredible commitment before, during and after the ISH.”
