Originally launched as a showering collection, Alu+ now includes showers, taps, beauty bars and accessories, allowing consumers to create a consistent design language throughout the bathroom. The collection is further enhanced by two new finishes – Bronze and Chrome – offering even greater design flexibility.
Designed by Roberto and Ludovica Palomba, Alu+ reflects Ideal Standard’s commitment to making modern, architectural design accessible to every homeowner and every bathroom space. Defined by slim profiles, integrated functionality and refined materials, the collection brings a contemporary aesthetic to bathrooms of all sizes, particularly those where space is at a premium.

A growing palette for personalised bathrooms
While black fittings have dominated bathroom design in recent years, warmer metallic tones are gaining momentum as homeowners seek spaces that feel more inviting and individual.
The new Bronze finish introduces warmth and depth to the Alu+ collection, complementing natural materials, earthy colour palettes and contemporary interiors. Chrome, meanwhile, offers a timeless alternative thanks to its versatility, light-reflecting qualities and enduring appeal.
Together with the existing Silk Black, Rosé and Silver finishes, the expanded palette allows homeowners to create bathrooms that reflect their personal style while maintaining a coherent design language.

Integrated shower shelves provide convenient storage for everyday products, while the coordinated Beauty Bars combine mirrors and accessories into a compact solution for smaller bathrooms. Available in multiple sizes, they offer practical storage without adding visual clutter. Matching accessories, including toilet roll holders, toilet brushes and flush plates, allow consumers to extend the design language throughout the room.
The collection also includes single-lever basin and bidet mixers featuring Ideal Standard’s market-leading FirmaFlow® XS cartridge technology. Tested for 500,000 cycles – twice the industry standard – they deliver exceptional durability alongside their distinctive design.
Sustainability designed in
Alu+ now takes another step forward in sustainability with components manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium, up from the previous 84%.
Combined with high-performance polymers suitable for drinking water applications, plastic-free packaging and water-saving technologies throughout the range, the collection demonstrates how responsible design and everyday practicality can work hand in hand. Basin mixers use just 3.8 litres of water per minute, while low-flow showering components reduce water consumption without compromising comfort.
Designed to elevate everyday routines
Alu+ is engineered to enhance the daily bathroom experience. Shower systems feature Ideal Standard’s SilkRain technology, producing ultra-soft, almost silent water droplets, while users can switch effortlessly between SilkRain and traditional Rain spray modes. PreciTherm® thermostat technology maintains precise temperatures, and CoolBody technology keeps exposed surfaces safe to touch.
