Howdens, the UK’s leading trade kitchen supplier, will be hosting their “Champions of the Trade Day” in depots across the UK* on 20th August. The event is to say thank you to the trade who have helped transform over 100 grassroots football clubs kitchens as part of the Howdens Game Changer Programme.
At the Champions of the Trade Day, all UK depots will be offering one-day only deals and giveaways exclusively available in-depot. Deals include a £50 Howdens discount when you spend £100 on the day, a DeWalt Bare Multi-Tool for only £50 and a Timco Solo Woodscrews Grab Case (1200 screws) for just £3.99. As well as these on-the-day in-depot deals, tradespeople can be entered into a prize draw to win signed football merchandise and stadium tours of Wembley, Hampden Park, Windsor Park and Cardiff City.
The Game Changer Programme was launched by Howdens to supply kitchens to grassroots football clubs nationwide and has recently celebrated its 100th kitchen installation at Borehamwood FC. The programme is backed by ambassadors Chris Kamara MBE and Jill Scott MBE, who will be visiting depots around the country on the Champions of the Trade Day.
David Sturdee, Chief Customer Officer at Howdens, adds: “Our products are available through the trade because they have the know-how and expertise to fit them to a high standard. Our Champions Of The Trade Day allows us to celebrate their craft and thank them for playing an instrumental role in fitting more than 100 Game Changer kitchens for grassroots football clubs, with exclusive trade deals, giveaways, and prizes. We look forward to seeing our trade customers at local depots across the UK on 20 August.”
*Excludes depots in Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
