Hendel & Hendel has won Best kitchen hardware at the Ideal Home Awards 2026 for its Barrington and Barrington Eclipse collections.
The award recognises the collections’ ability to give KBB retailers, kitchen designers and manufacturers a coordinated hardware solution across different areas of cabinetry, with Barrington offering a ribbed pull handle and Barrington Eclipse introducing a half-moon design for drawers, doors and feature cabinetry.
Both collections have been designed to work together, giving retailers a straightforward way to specify a cohesive hardware package while still offering customers variation across a kitchen scheme. Barrington delivers a fluted profile inspired by Art Deco detailing, while Barrington Eclipse provides a more curved, shape-led option that can be used on drawers, larder doors or statement cabinetry.
The collections are available in a range of commercially relevant finishes, including brushed satin brass, dark brushed brass, dull nickel, polished nickel and matt black, giving retailers flexibility across both contemporary and more traditional kitchen projects.
Barrington is manufactured from Zamac and supplied with fixing screws, offering a durable and cost-effective option for projects where specification, finish and price point all need to be balanced.
The Ideal Home Awards recognise products across the homes and interiors market, with the Best kitchen hardware category highlighting products that combine strong design credentials with practical application in real homes.
Terry Haughton, Managing Director at Hendel & Hendel, says: “We are very pleased to see Barrington and Barrington Eclipse recognised by the Ideal Home Awards. For retailers and designers, hardware needs to offer more than an attractive finish; it has to be easy to specify, versatile across different cabinetry types and relevant to the way kitchens are being designed now. These two collections were created to work together, giving customers a coordinated look while allowing different areas of the kitchen to have their own detail.”
