Häfele, the UK’s largest distributor of furniture fittings to the KBB market, has described its first ever time exhibiting at the InstallerSHOW (25-27 June 2024, NEC Birmingham) as ‘a great success’, having inspired the nation’s kitchen installers with its range of products.

On stand 4C16, located next to the show’s Kitchen of the Future installation, Häfele showcased many of its legacy products that have revolutionised the furniture fixings industry, including the iconic Häfele Minifix connector system, of which 3.2 million units are still produced every day.

Introduced to the industry for the very first time was Häfele’s brand new UC 16/64, a polycarbonate connection device which mixes snap-in studs and clips with a latching nose and screw holes to achieve multiple applications with just one device. Suitable for corner, surface and upright connections, as well as offset, angled and double joints, the UC 16/64 also acts as an assembly aid, cable guide, spacer and floor guide. a true example of Häfele commitment to developing products which help installers finish projects to the highest quality while making time and cost savings, the UC 16/64 is available to buy from Häfele from September.

There was the chance to get hands on with Matrix, Häfele’s versatile drawer range offering universal style and functionality as well as easy installation for installers, now with a pre-assembled option. The Metalla 310 – a high-quality, high-performance hinge at a lower point than similar products on the market – was on show in a new black nickel finish, while Häfele also promoted its handheld tools ranges, including XtraHand, Mirka and Festool.

Häfele also offered live demonstrations of the Flex Lighting System, a simple and efficient plug-and-play solution for installing kitchen and furniture lighting designs; market leading splashback trends and finishes, including Alusplash, which offers a practical, hassle-free alternative to glass, acrylic and tiled splashbacks and can be installed without corner joints; and Axilo, a specially designed plinth adjustment tool enabling the perfect levelling-up of cabinetry.

Richard Curtis, Managing Director of Häfele UK, said: “Our first ever InstallerSHOW was a huge success. Over the course of three days, we had the chance to really get to know our installer customers, find out about the projects they’re working on, and show them the products and services available at Häfele to make their life easier, save them money and extend our services to their customers.

“We were delighted away by the number of visitors to the stand, all wanting to find out more about our brand partnerships, our own manufactured products and tools, and the latest innovations we’ve developed based feedback from the industry.

“Hafele was 100 years old last year, and throughout our history, we’ve worked alongside installers developing innovative products to transform the way they work. The InstallerSHOW was a great opportunity to show exactly how we do that, and the response we had couldn’t have been more positive.”
