Häfele to showcase latest trends and products at kbb 2020

Global manufacturer and distributor, Häfele, is set to have one of its biggest kbb shows yet as it celebrates its 40th anniversary in the UK and unveils some of its latest innovations, trends and services at the event in March (1st – 4th March 2020, stand S90).

Just one of these new products will be AluSplash, an aluminium-based splashback, that has become one of the company’s fastest-growing lines ever since its launch.

At the show, Häfele will display two new AluSplash colours, a vibrant red and a bold teal, taking its range of metallic colourways up to 12 seamless, high gloss options. The Häfele team will also be on hand to talk through the benefits of AluSplash, including its simple, efficient installation for fitters, lower price point versus glass, ability to go behind the hob and its easier cleaning and more hygienic finish compared to tiles.

The plug and play lighting system, Loox, will be another key focus at kbb. As well as seeing how it can be used in a variety of settings from under cabinet and accent lighting, to drawers and cupboard interiors, KBB studios can find out about the most recent extensions to the range. These include technology that allows for pre-programmable lighting scenes of different colours and concentrations, and a black version of the ribbon lighting.

Häfele will also be unveiling its new Lighting Design Service that guides studios from planning to technical specifications. Teamed with the Häfele to Order service, customers can be assured they not only select the right Loox products, but that these are also cut and packaged to bespoke requirements for their customers’ needs.

Also making its debut at kbb 2020 is the new Minerva® worktop, Calcutta White. While manufactured from man-made acrylic, this worktop has veining throughout making it a great way for kitchen designers to offer an on-trend marble effect but at a more cost-effective price point. Minerva® Calcutta White is also much lighter than natural marble making it easier to install without a requirement for specialist tools to fit.

Alongside the latest developments in surfaces and furniture lighting, Häfele will be showcasing the newest trends and solutions in intelligent storage. Taking inspiration from the continent, these products include innovative pocket door and sliding wall mechanisms that allow for greater flexibility and adaptability of rooms. kbb will also be the first time the Grass Kinvaro D flat fitting will be on display in the UK. With a premium look, Kinvaro D is ideal for use with bespoke furniture pieces; such as drinks cabinets, as well as with premium living room storage furniture.
