Franke sponsors rising women’s football star for the forthcoming season

Franke has demonstrated its commitment to nurturing young talent and supporting the growth of women’s football with the sponsorship of 15-year-old Abigail Reid, the goalkeeper for Wycombe Wanderers FC Women’s U18s football club.

Abigail, who hails from Reading, has joined Wycombe Wanderers for the 2023-24 season where she will compete as part of the Junior Premier League. She started her football journey at the age of seven with Tilehurst Panthers in Reading. No stranger to Wycombe Wanderers, Abigail began training at the Wycombe Wanderers Girls Elite Development Centre last year, alongside her time at Tilehurst.

The sponsorship covers the upcoming season’s kit and membership expenses and showcases Franke’s dedication to fostering young talent as well as supporting its employees. Abigail’s dad, Stuart Reid has been an integral part of the Franke team for the past five years where he is employed as a Field Service Technician.
