Florim presents the 18th edition of its Sustainability Statement, a pioneering commitment born in 2008 and now aligned for the first time with the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), anticipating the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
“Let us return to operating with humility, strong willpower, complexity and ambiguity, and the commitment to a vision that goes beyond short-term optimization, while embracing uncertainty as an extraordinary opportunity to redefine ourselves in the face of change”, said Claudio Lucchese, Chairman of Florim, in the opening message of the report, reaffirming the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable and responsible growth.
In 2025, Florim further strengthened its sustainable growth strategy through industrial investments, technological innovation and the expansion of its international presence. Total investments over the past five years have exceeded €300 million, including €37 million in 2025 alone.
Among the most significant initiatives are the completion of the renovation of Plant 1 in Fiorano Modenese, the new concept for the FLORIM Gallery, and the launch of a major energy infrastructure project involving the expansion of photovoltaic systems and the introduction of a 5 MWh BESS energy storage system.
The company’s international expansion also continues with its presence in the world’s leading design capitals through new openings in Los Angeles and Seoul, in addition to the expansion of the Rome showroom, bringing the total number of Florim Flagship Stores worldwide to 11.
Since 2011, Florim has invested approximately €78 million in sustainability-related projects, including around €4 million in 2025 alone. Significant progress has also been made in the field of circular economy, through a project developed in collaboration with the Civita Castellana sanitary ceramics district.
Social initiatives also continued through the activities of the Fondazione Ing. Giovanni Lucchese, with projects dedicated to health and prevention for the local community, as well as numerous initiatives designed for employees and their families, including dedicated events, welfare programs and shared experiences.
A commitment reflected in the closing remarks of Chairman Claudio Lucchese, who, in his letter to stakeholders, expressed “his sincere gratitude for the constant dedication and strong sense of belonging” shown by all Group employees, both in Italy and across its international locations.
