“It’s one thing to be a part of an organisation. It’s another thing to be a part of the community.”

Community is one of InstallerSHOW’s biggest strengths. With 20,000 people gathering at the NEC over three days this June for InstallerSHOW 2024, the feeling of being part of this amazing community is something that will stay with you long after the show closes. Community is not just the social element, although obviously that’s a big reason to come along.

Here are five other reasons why you should be part of something special this June.

1.SUPPORT. Much more than grabbing beer and a chat, although there will be plenty of that going on, it’s about finding a network of people who face similar challenges in their working lives and can offer advice and support. Installers and the wider building trades are often self-employed and work alone – connecting with others who know exactly what that’s like can be so helpful.

2.LEARNING. The InstallerSHOW community also offers loads of chances to learn. We’ve got 10 content theatres with seminars and demos so you can stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and products. The industry coming together to share knowledge and ideas ensures that we’re always improving.

3. CONNECTIONS. Seeing people face-to-face can open up opportunities you might not have even considered before. Making real connections with exhibitors, speakers and other visitors can give you new connections that can help to grow your business or identify collaboration opportunities.

4. PERSPECTIVE. You won’t be on the same page as every other person at the show and that’s a good thing.  A community like ours can allow you to broaden your perspectives – seeing other viewpoints and other ways of doing things can help you solve problems and even revamp your own business.

5.FUN. Yes, it’s work, but InstallerSHOW is also a whole load of fun. There are networking drinks and other social gatherings, plus lots of games and activities throughout the show offering bags of chances to connect with people and widen your circle of contacts.
