The team at Fired Earth have long been huge fans of Tricia Guild’s distinctive designs, which is why they’re thrilled to be launching a truly special Fired Earth X Designers Guild collaboration.
Tricia Guild OBE – the creative force behind Designers Guild – has been at the forefront of interior design since founding the company in the early 1970s. Now, Fired Earth has worked with her to bring her love of colour, pattern and texture to an extraordinary range of tiles.
The tiles in the three collections are made from porcelain and so are as practical as they are beautiful. They are great for statement-making hallways, wet areas – such as bathrooms and kitchens – and for both walls and floors. They can also be used outdoors because, with the correct installation, they’re frost proof.
Versatility was key when choosing the material and the designs, and together Fired Earth and Designers Guild have created a collection that’s both timeless and striking.

The Shibori pattern was created in the Designers Guild studio using techniques inspired by the ancient Japanese art of tie-dyeing and comes in four quintessentially Designers Guild colours.
Laterza is inspired by the glamour of the 1920s and is available in four stylishly serene shades. The tiles feature an elegant geometric trellis form that is sleek and characterful, classical but modern.

The look for the Jaal tiles comes from one of the original designs from the very first collection by Designers Guild. It is derived from a timeless small-scale Indian block print motif in two tones. The tiles are available in three beautiful colourways.
