Fibo will be exhibiting at Housing 2026, the UK’s leading event for the housing and wider living sector, bringing together more than 9,000 housing professionals, policymakers, landlords and developers to collaborate on solutions that support housing delivery, operational efficiency and improved outcomes for residents.

With housing delivery and maintenance efficiency high on the national agenda, Housing 2026 provides a key platform for sharing practical innovations that help reduce void times, improve asset performance and support long-term housing management.

At the event, Fibo, partnering with Forbo, will showcase a range of system developments designed specifically for social and affordable housing, refurbishment and high-volume residential environments.

A key focus will be Fibo’s new base profile system (coming soon), an ideal solution for social and affordable housing. Designed to work alongside vinyl flooring systems, it allows floors to be replaced without removing wall panels, helping reduce disruption, extend installation lifecycles, and improve turnaround times for councils and housing providers.

Fibo will also highlight their Spray application – now featuring a spray nozzle designed for improved edge application control. This supports faster, more consistent installation and helps reduce time on site while improving finish quality.

Fibo will also present their established waterproof wall panel system, designed and manufactured in Norway since 1952. Using a PEFC-certified birch plywood core and high-pressure laminate surface, the system delivers a durable, impact-resistant finish suitable for demanding residential environments.

Fibo’s Aqualock tongue and groove system enables panels to click and seal together, creating a 100% waterproof surface when installed with approved sealant. Installation can be up to five times faster than traditional tiling and can be applied over plasterboard, timber frames or existing tiles, supporting faster refurbishment cycles and reduced disruption.

Tile-effect panels feature moulded grout lines rather than printed finishes, delivering a realistic tiled appearance without the need for traditional grouting. This reduces installation time and ongoing maintenance while improving hygiene and cleanability – key priorities in social housing.

Together, Fibo’s system approach helps housing providers and contractors reduce void periods, improve installation efficiency and extend asset life, particularly in refurbishment, void works and high-volume housing programmes.

Speaking ahead of Housing 2026, Danielle Kingswell, UK Marketing Manager at Fibo UK, said, “We’re focused on helping housing providers deliver high-quality homes more efficiently, while reducing long-term maintenance pressures. Our latest developments, including our Spray system and forthcoming base profile, are designed to improve installation speed, reduce disruption and support better lifecycle performance across housing stock.”

At Housing 2026, visitors will be able to explore Fibo’s latest innovations and learn how their system-based approach is helping improve efficiency, durability and turnaround across the UK housing sector.
