Everything Plus The Kitchen Sink To Help Family In Need Love Their Home And Garden

When architects working on the latest project for popular ITV show Love Your Home and Garden approached Abode to supply the kitchen sink, the manufacturer was only too happy to oblige.

The show, hosted by Alan Titchmarsh, recognises inspirational people struggling with disabilities or serious health issues, by giving them a surprise make-over to help improve their quality of life. Designed by professional architects, each project is completed to a very high spec.

Abode’s Matrix SQ GR15 sink was chosen for a project due to feature on the programme in September, where three generations of one family live together, despite the man of the house suffering from serious health issues including Parkinson’s disease, Dementia and Diabetes. Whilst his wife spends all her time caring for him on a day to day basis, the house is filled with their daughter and two grandchildren; making it a very busy environment.

The Love Your Home and Garden team redesigned the layout of the property to make it easier for the family to live in comfort, including a new kitchen on the revamped ground floor.

In line with current interior design trends, the Abode Matrix SQ GR15 sink in Black Metallic Granite was chosen, blending seamlessly with its surroundings and helping to tie the whole look together, while being extremely durable and simple to care for, something that was very important in such a busy family kitchen.
