Come home to Rotpunkt and its range of climate friendly German furniture, as the latest entryways in 2025/26 create a lasting first impression with family and friends.

Whether you’re making use of a narrow passageway, or the main entrance is open to the living room or staircase, it is now customary to provide ample storage for guests to offload their belongings as they step into your home to prevent clutter, and provide a clear path to and from the front door.

Matt Phillips, Head of UK Operations at Rotpunkt says, “UK homeowners are seeing huge value in well-considered hallway storage, and this has led to new opportunities for design professionals to create interior concepts, which are unique, flexible, and client specific. From extra-tall vertical storage with hidden coat racks, high shelving, and internal shoe racks through to slimline sideboards, bench seating and wall organisation systems complete with hooks for hanging bags and hats, our furniture is multipurpose and able to connect different areas in the home like the front entrance to the kitchen and living space.”

“Another key trend shaping hallway design today is fully integrated smart lighting. Discreet and energy saving, fully integrated smart lighting in a hallway or welcome area is a great way to enhance illumination and improve safety, add convenience through automation, and provide highly desirable mood lighting as you enter or leave the home” says Matt.

The Zerox furniture range by Rotpunkt has been used to create two unique welcome areas featuring the company’s timeless Beach Grey finish and Memory RI vertical groove wall panels in Walnut. Wider and taller too, the company’s furniture is available in a range of standard and XTend dimensions to provide greater planning options for built-in storage solutions.

The first welcome area doubles as a practical Bootility and includes a large furniture arrangement with Xtend H2340mm extra tall cabinets that sit either side of a practical seating area. Created using a run of base units, the bench seat not only provides a convenient place to put on or take off your shoes but also extra storage space that supports the Memory RI back panel with wooden wall hooks.

The second design concept makes use of a large empty space positioned between the front door and the dining room. Adding valuable storage without monopolising floor space, this hallway includes an Xtend H910mm slimline sideboard that offers 16% more storage space compared to standard units, and a pair of Xtend H2340mm extra tall cabinets with open shelving and hanging rails. To finish, a Memory RI wall niche with vertical grooves helps to define the space and add a sense of height.

Rotpunkt Zerox Beach Grey furniture solutions are available now and priced from £6,000+vat.
