Ca’ Pietra introduces the latest chapter in its Studio Collection, a made-to-order capsule created in collaboration with British design house Divine Savages. Sitting within Studio’s small-batch, Wiltshire-fired world, this limited run brings statement pattern to ceramic while keeping the ease and practicality that Studio is known for.
Founded by husbands Jamie Watkins and Tom Kennedy, Divine Savages is celebrated for boldly expressive wallpapers and fabrics that draw on history, culture and the natural world; a spirited point of view that dovetails neatly with Studio’s craft-led approach.
The capsule spans twelve ceramic wall tiles across two pattern families – The Brambles and Lovebirds – each design translated from Divine Savages’ restored archive prints. Every tile measures 13cm x 13cm with a glossy finish, is made to order, and is suitable for interior walls only.
The Brambles takes its cue from an historic print that celebrates the hedgerow; roses, hydrangeas and daisies are lifted from the tangle and set as single, delicate emblems. Lovebirds speaks to the theatre of avian courtship, pairing gentle florals with lively, characterful birds. Together they offer a fresh way to add narrative to the home, as a quiet accent or a confident feature.
Designers and retailers can dial the look up or down. Used with plain square tiles, the motifs can form stripes, checkerboard layouts or a simple border; paired with Studio’s colour-block Jamboree palette, they read as playful and personal.
Grazzie, Head of Creative at Ca’ Pietra, says: ““Divine Savages is a brand we’ve long admired for their fearless use of pattern and their ability to tell stories through design. There’s a shared love of heritage and craftsmanship that made this collaboration feel instinctive from the very beginning.
“The natural home for the collaboration was for this to sit within the Ca’ Pietra Studio Collection, which is our space for artistry and ideas. Small
batches, fired in Wiltshire, and pieces that feel personal from the moment they are made. Working with Divine Savages has allowed us to translate their restored archive prints into glossy ceramic with a freshness that still honours their roots. The Brambles and Lovebirds bring a new layer of personality to Studio, designed to mix with our colour-block tiles so you can create moments of pattern that feel effortless to live with.”
Jamie Watkins, co-founder of Divine Savages, adds: “We have always loved the alchemy that happens when heritage motifs meet modern making. Partnering with Ca’ Pietra meant our archive prints could find a new voice in tile, characterful, practical and ready for everyday spaces. This capsule brings our two design houses together in a way that feels joyful but usable, whether you are framing a splashback or giving a powder room a wink of pattern.”
The Studio x Divine Savages capsule is made to order through Ca’ Pietra and designed to sit comfortably alongside existing Studio colour stories. Retailers are able to order the new collection now.
