Ca’ Pietra has launched the first edition of The Design Review, a new editorial publication created to help retailers bring the world of Ca’ Pietra to life for homeowners in a more inspiring, story-led and accessible way.

A bold evolution of their brand literature and a fresh new format for how they share inspiration, creativity and the story behind Ca’ Pietra. Moving beyond the traditional look book, this oversized, newspaper-style publication has been designed as a short, digestible edit of who Ca’ Pietra are as a brand. From curated spaces and iconic materials to the people, ideas and craftsmanship behind them.

Unlike Ca’ Pietra’s dedicated materials guide, which remains the brand’s practical and technical resource, The Design Review is not a specification document or a product catalogue. It is an editorial piece, created to spark conversation, build confidence and help homeowners imagine how stone, tile, terracotta, porcelain and decorative surfaces can work within real homes, gardens and hospitality spaces.

The first edition introduces a series of recurring features, from Our Icons, which celebrates the materials that have helped shape the Ca’ Pietra story, to Material Matters, an editorial exploration of natural stone, porcelain, decorative surfaces and exterior materials. It also features real project stories, designer insight, interviews with makers and a first instalment of What Home Means To Me, featuring Lucy Sear-Barlow of Barlow & Barlow.

For KBB retailers, the publication offers a valuable new layer of support at showroom level, helping teams move the conversation away from purely transactional product selection and towards a richer discussion about how a homeowner wants their space to feel, age and be lived in. It gives retailers a polished, tactile piece of brand storytelling that can sit naturally within consultations, be shared with clients as inspiration and used to open up wider conversations around material, layout, atmosphere and long-term design choices.

The launch reflects Ca’ Pietra’s continued investment in its retailer network, giving partners a tool that is both useful and emotionally engaging, while reinforcing the brand’s belief that the right surface is never simply a finishing touch, but part of the way a home is experienced every day.

Grazzie Wilson, Group Brand Director at Ca’ Pietra, says: “Retailers are often the first place homeowners come when they are trying to make sense of a project, and we wanted to create something that supports that conversation in a more inspiring way. The Design Review is there to help people slow down, explore ideas and understand the role materials can play in a home, without feeling as though they are being handed a catalogue. It gives our retailers a piece they can use to share the Ca’ Pietra world with warmth, confidence and depth.”

Hamish Smith, Founder and CEO of Ca’ Pietra, says: “The story of Ca’ Pietra has always been about more than tile and stone. It is about craft, curiosity and the way materials become part of people’s homes over time. The Design Review allows us to share that story through the projects, designers, makers and materials that continue to shape who we are.”

The first edition of The Ca’ Pietra Design Review is available now through Ca’ Pietra and its retailer network, with future editions planned to build on the same editorial format, bringing new stories, projects and design voices to the homeowner throughout the year.
