The British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists (BIFIS) is delighted to announce Buildscout as the latest business to pledge its support to the fitted interiors installation sector by joining the institute as an Advocate.
Buildscout is a digital platform designed to connect construction professionals to the right projects early in the planning process and positioning them as experts. By giving tradespeople the ability to proactively find and get in front of homeowners that have submitted planning applications for projects that match their expertise, Buildscout is focused on making it easier for professionals across the construction and home improvement sectors to sustainably grow and develop their businesses and get ahead of rogue traders. Its decision to become a BIFIS Advocate reflects a commitment to supporting the installation community and contributing to the development of the fitted interiors sector.
The new partnership brings Buildscout into the growing network of businesses supporting BIFIS in its mission to raise standards, promote professionalism and build a sustainable future workforce for the fitted interiors sector, with opportunities to engage directly with the organisation and the installation community, while supporting initiatives focused on the institute’s core pillars.
BIFIS Advocates play a key role in driving positive change within fitted interiors installation, providing businesses with a platform to demonstrate their commitment to the sector while contributing to conversations and initiatives that affect installers and the wider industry.
Damian Walters, CEO of BIFIS, said “We are delighted to welcome Buildscout to the BIFIS Advocate community. Our Advocate programme brings together businesses that recognise the importance of a professional, competent and sustainable installation sector and are prepared to play an active role in supporting its development. Buildscout’s decision to become an Advocate demonstrates its commitment to the fitted interiors sector and to the businesses and professionals working within it. We look forward to working closely with the Buildscout team and creating opportunities for them to engage with our installer community and wider stakeholder network.”
Luke Stringer from Buildscout said “Buildscout helps skilled professionals connect with homeowners early in the planning process, so they can grow their businesses sustainably. It also means the right projects go to qualified, reputable trades rather than rogue traders. BIFIS shares our commitment to raising standards across the installation sector, and we’re proud to join as an Advocate and support its work with installers.”
