Award wins for EGGER from German Design Council
Laminate and wood-based panel manufacturer EGGER has picked up top international awards from the German Design Council across all three of its product divisions.
Its velvety matt and super-reflective gloss PerfectSense MDF panels won the Materials and Surfaces category in the German Design Awards – impressing judges with what they described as their exceptional tactile and aesthetic properties.
EGGER’s laminate flooring products also picked up two wins – in the Building and Elements category. The tough, easy to clean Handscraped Oak and Slate Black decors were praised for their authentic appearance and long service life.
Competition among entrants is fierce
A fourth EGGER product – an edge-profiled construction board – also received a special mention at the annual awards ceremony in Frankfurt that was attended by more than 1300 people. Competition among entrants is fierce, with winners being judged to have added brand value through innovative design.
