ASKO UK ANNOUNCES TWO NEW SENIOR HIRES TO SUPPORT UK GROWTH

  • Michael Hardwick, Head of Sales and Peter Jarvis, Account Manager, join the ASKO UK team, to support ambitious growth plans for UK market

Premium Scandinavian appliance brand, ASKO, has announced two new additions to its UK team with Peter Jarvis joining as National Account Manager with a focus on electrical retail, and Michael Hardwick appointed as Head of Sales. Both additions come as ASKO looks to grow its sales and continue to develop brand awareness as a leading premium appliances brand within the UK market.

Peter brings over 20 years of experience in balancing the commercial requirement of brands and customers and building strong relationships with key retailers in the domestic appliances industry. He has previously worked on popular brands such as Smeg UK, Montpellier Domestic Appliances, B/S/H Home Appliances, and Salter Housewares.

In his new role, Peter will be responsible for managing existing accounts in Electrical Retail with a focus on Euronics HQ and key members, as well as Appliance City and Marks Electrical. He will be supporting all aspects of developing the ASKO brand within their business.

Michael Hardwick also recently joined the growing ASKO UK team and is looking to draw on his wealth of knowledge and expertise in the home appliances industry to support ASKO in developing awareness and visibility of the brand in a variety of retail and trade partners.

Previously in his career, Michael has worked for leading appliance brands, Miele, and Fisher & Paykel. In his most recent employment at Fisher & Paykel as UK Sales Manager, Michael led on the development of strategy around Mental Health & Wellbeing, working with colleagues from the UK and global to create an inclusive and supportive environment. In his two years at the company, he contributed to adding seven Mental Health Ambassadors to their UK team.

As Head of Sales for ASKO UK, Michael will work from various locations around the country including at home in Oxfordshire, the Stoke-on-Trent and Leeds offices, and travelling on the road visiting customers.
