ASKO announces debut refrigeration range a year after launching into UK market

For the last 70 years, ASKO has been designing and developing premium kitchen and laundry appliances that deliver both functionality and timeless Scandinavian style. Following a hugely successful launch into the UK consumer market last year, the Swedish-born brand has now announced its debut refrigeration range, now available for purchase.

The new collection displays all the usual visual flair and excellent craftmanship that is characteristic of every ASKO appliance. A seamless finish ensures each unit fits perfectly into existing kitchen hardware, whilst the painted white steel casing creates a clean and bright aesthetic.

ASKO’s Refrigerator (R31831I) and Refrigerator Freezer (RF31831I) appliances feature an adjustable digital temperature display, allowing users to get the most out of the appliance and to suit their individual needs. Each appliance also comes with a pre-installed vegetable drawer with automatic humidity control, for generous storage space and preventing food from drying out. The humidity in the drawer is regulated automatically, depending on the type and amount of inserted food.

The Refrigerator Freezer also comes with an illuminated interior and a high temperature alarm, signalling to users if the temperature in the appliance is too high to ensure efficiency. Both products are equipped with a ‘Fresh Air’ function that uses ionising technology to clean the air inside your refrigeration unit and remove unwanted odours.

With innovative sensor technology, the ASKO Refrigerator Freezer adjusts the appliance operation to the user’s habits or behaviour. The adaptive intelligent system monitors, analyses, and records on a daily and weekly basis the use of the appliance and adapts the appliance operations to the perceived pattern, adjusting the temperature for your needs.

Also new to the range, ASKO has also released its Freezer (FN31831I) which is completely frost free. The appliance allows consumers to use the freezers entire space and energy more effectively for freezing food, rather than making ice, resulting in saving money and the environment. With a 212-litre capacity, there is plenty of space for Christmas shopping and an extra-large 38 litre SpaceBox for large products such as a turkey and all its trimmings.

Complete with soft-closing doors, all three appliances in the new refrigeration range feature are designed with the perfect user experience in mind.
