Rotpunkt UK, award-winning designer and manufacturer of climate friendly German furniture for the contemporary home and kitchen, is delighted to welcome John McWhinnie, newly appointed Sales Manager covering the north of England.
John joined the UK team in January 2024, as part of the company’s national strategy to serve and inspire its network of Rotpunkt retailers and more specifically, northern sales territories.
Hired in direct response to retailers in the north showing increased demand for creative, eco-friendly furniture design within the middle-tier and premium property sector, John has been appointed to assist UK showrooms and covers the M62 north into Scotland, to deliver the Rotpunkt difference to their customers.
Bringing over 37 years industry experience to his role at Rotpunkt UK, John is a consummate KBB professional with a clear mission to collaborate and support the independent retailer create functional kitchen spaces that deliver on style and substance. His previous roles include National Product Training Manager at Nolte UK, Senior Designer at Häcker Kitchens based in Dubai, as well as Showroom Manager at SieMatic, and it is this experience that has helped shape John’s in-depth understanding of the retail environment and importance of building strong, lasting relationships.

Now, I am fortunate to be assisting others in their own business journey with Rotpunkt so that they can stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations.”
