FLORIM stone was created from Florim’s desire to establish a deep, conscious dialogue with the world of interior design and decoration through an innovative, cross-disciplinary language. The brand interprets porcelain stoneware as a design material, conceived to integrate seamlessly into living systems and adapt coherently to different contexts, scales, and functions, from residential to hospitality, from retail to contract spaces. A single large format, 320×160 cm, available in three different thicknesses (6, 12, and 20 mm), defines a cohesive design system that ensures compositional freedom and visual continuity, offering architects and designers the tools to express their creative identity without compromise.
The strength of FLORIM stone lies in its versatility: surfaces designed to become countertops, furnishings, and bespoke solutions, always maintaining aesthetic consistency and high technical performance. Rigorous research into material, light, and color drives the creation of surfaces that go beyond mere function to take on expressive and architectural value. FLORIM stone thus becomes a true creative tool within projects, enhancing minimalist or decorative spaces, essential or sophisticated environments, always with a refined, timeless aesthetic. A renewed conceived to dialogue with the global vision of Florim collections and to embody an evolved interpretation of spatial architecture.
Florim’s innovation in digital decoration extends to FLORIM stone surfaces, where advanced technological research shapes increasingly deep material and three-dimensional effects, inspired by the tactile craftsmanship of natural stone and enhanced by full-body colored blends. The aesthetic universe of FLORIM stone unfolds through three major stylistic matrices, each conceived to interpret design through distinct yet complementary material languages. The marble-inspired line reinterprets the timeless elegance of natural stone in a contemporary key, with refined surfaces, deep veining, and a precisely balanced formal language. The concrete-inspired line expresses a more essential, architectural aesthetic, where the material becomes neutral, compact, and versatile, ideal for urban and minimalist spaces. Finally, the stone-inspired line enhances the surface’s most authentic and textural character, recalling natural textures, controlled irregularities, and a strong relationship with landscape and architecture.
All FLORIM stone surfaces are the result of a careful, environmentally responsible production process, carried out in facilities where all raw production waste and wastewater are fully recovered. Florim, Benefit Corporation and certified B Corp, is capable of self-producing up to 100% of the electricity required to power its Italian manufacturing plants; when additional energy is needed, it is sourced exclusively from certified renewable supplies. FLORIM stone is also part of the CarbonZero project: Carbon Neutral surfaces that offset all CO₂ emissions generated throughout their entire life cycle.
MARBLE BRUN
Marble Brun, inspired by the Brazilian Breccia Imperiale quartzite, is a rich and vibrant surface. Its brown background tones range from coffee to chestnut hues, punctuated by subtle white accents that break up the pattern and add movement. It is a warm, deep marble, perfect for sophisticated yet welcoming interiors. The Matte Silk finish is directly inspired by the natural stone itself, featuring a worked, softly matte texture that enhances its authentic character.
MARBLE BERYL
Marble Beryl reinterprets green quartzite with a contemporary sensibility, presented in a light, delicately desaturated shade designed to enhance spaces with elegance and natural appeal. The green blends seamlessly with refined beige undertones, creating a sophisticated chromatic dialogue that results in a balanced, visually inviting surface. This harmonious combination makes Marble Beryl exceptionally versatile.
MARBLE MAHAL
Marble Mahal reinterprets the refined aesthetic of Taj Mahal quartzite, subtly enriched with delicate references to Cristal White. The graphic design stands out for its elegance and lightness, enhanced by copper-toned veining that adds depth, warmth, and a touch of precious luminosity. The result is a surface of striking visual impact, capable of conveying exclusivity and harmony. Marble Mahal establishes itself as a highly distinctive proposal, ideal for projects seeking uniqueness, elegance, and strong personality.
MARBLE SEQUOIA
Marble Sequoia draws inspiration from Brazilian Ebano quartzite, reinterpreting its bold character through a palette of warm, deep tones. The surface is defined by intense, earthy veining with a rich, tactile quality, creating a visual effect of depth and natural authenticity, evoking a genuine connection to stone and the elemental forces of nature. The result is an elegant, contemporary surface capable of infusing spaces with distinctive personality.
YAMUNA OPAL AND YAMUNA MOKA
Yamuna remains a stylistic reference within the range, thanks to its distinctive character. The collection is enriched with new interpretations, introducing a palette of warm, enveloping shades. These new variants enhance the depth and chromatic complexity of the original graphic design, offering solutions that elevate spaces with greater expressive intensity. Yamuna Opal is defined by a richer evolution of nuances, adding enhanced color depth and a sophisticated dynamic visual effect. Yamuna Moka features deeper, more enveloping brown tones, ideal for creating warm, elegant interiors with an inviting atmosphere.
STONE ETNA GREY AND STONE ETNA BLACK
A dialogue between artisanal expertise and industrial research gives rise to surfaces with a strong material identity. Lava stone is an igneous rock formed by the rapid cooling of molten lava, distinguished by its fine, compact grain. To faithfully capture its aesthetic and depth, Florim has developed dedicated body blends enriched with specially formulated flakes and color mixes, designed to reproduce the complexity and natural irregularity of the original material. The collection is available in two shades: Etna Grey, a lighter and more refined interpretation that conveys contemporary elegance and restraint; and Etna Black, darker and more intense, deeply connected to the authentic, powerful imagery of volcanic lava.
STONE DIJON
Stone Dijon, inspired by the world of limestones and Vicenza stone, a fine-grained fossil rock, reinterprets its natural aesthetic through a contemporary lens. It is presented in a particularly warm shade of grey, developed to stand apart from the cooler interpretations already in the range and to offer a more welcoming, tactile visual appeal. Elegant and understated, it lends itself to a wide variety of design applications.
STONE LUCANIA
Stone Lucania is a reinterpretation of the tuff from Sasso di Matera, a fossil-rich rock formed through marine sedimentation, evoking its authentic, layered identity. Its irregular, porous geological nature is expressed through the Matt Leather finish, achieved using digital graniglia technology, developed to deliver a deep and highly realistic material effect. To the touch, the surface feels more textured and less soft, offering an exceptionally authentic sensation that enhances the stone’s natural character.
GRANA COTONE
Grana Cotone originates from the world of the SensiTerre collection, created in collaboration with Matteo Thun & Partners. It recalls cocciopesto, an ancient Roman material composed of fragments of brick and lime. This historical legacy is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens in a surface with strong decorative appeal, capable of expressing character without becoming overpowering. Balanced and refined, it is the ideal choice for distinctive projects where material and color become narrative elements of the space.
